Fairline Yachts<\/a> has released more details about the Squadron 68, which is scheduled to premiere this autumn at the Cannes Yachting Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fairline Squadron 68 (initially called the Squadron 64<\/a>) will replace the Squadron 65<\/a> in the builder’s offerings. The first Squadron 68s are now in build in Southampton, England, designed by Monaco-based Alberto Mancini with engineering from Vripack in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Squadron 68 is a flybridge yacht that Fairline says will surpass the Squadron 65\u2019s space by 12 percent on the lower deck, 5 percent in the salon and 10 percent on the flybridge. A 2\u00bd-foot swim platform extension is designed for stowing personal watercraft or a jet tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three- and four-stateroom layouts will be available. Owners also will have the option of choosing an extended VIP stateroom forward, adding a vanity and stowage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is our most sophisticated model yet,\u201d David Tydeman, executive chairman at Fairline Yachts, stated in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
