Twin C18 Cats were the standard motors, with optional C30s and C32s. Prop pockets reduced draft to 4 feet 2 inches. Her cockpit had 149 square feet of fish-fighting space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Belowdecks<\/strong>: The standard layout was three staterooms and two heads, with an amidships master to port. The forepeak had a standard queen or optional V-berth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Availability<\/strong>: At press time, 15 GT54s were for sale, ranging from $549,000 for a 2002 with C30s to $2 million for a 2014 with twin C32s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the Archives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;With 4- to 6-foot swells and a 2-foot chop, slight movement of the wheel set her firmly into the wave pattern. Her convex hull has a sharp entry and widens to near flat at the transom.
