The 48-foot Riva Dolceriva<\/a> Epica<\/em>, currently listed with Allied Marine, is for sale with a $1.9 million asking price. The 2021 build has only 175 hours on its Volvo Penta diesels, has a 40-knot top hop and two staterooms for cruising with family and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outside spaces aboard this yacht include two sun pads that flank the teak-sole cockpit. Immediately forward and to port is a four-person L-shaped settee and a table that folds out to create a larger dining space with the three-person bench sofa to starboard. The helm is forward and to starboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stepping belowdecks, guests will find a lounge to port and the galley to starboard. The galley is equipped with Corian countertops, a concealed induction cooktop, a microwave oven and a refrigerator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forward of the galley and the lounge area is the forepeak owners’ stateroom, which has a double berth and bed frame in upholstered leather, a wooden nightstand, a wardrobe and stowage under the berth. Aft of the lounge area and down a few steps is the guest stateroom with two single berths. The owners’ head also doubles as Epica<\/em> \u2019s day head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twin 1,000 hp Volvo Penta <\/a>D13s give Epica<\/em> a reported 40-knot top hop and a cruise speed of 35 knots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other notable features onboard this Riva Dolceriva<\/a> include an acoustic alarm for water in bilge, an automatic pilot with rudder angle gauge interfaced with plotter\/GPS, an electric bow thruster control panel, an electric steering system, an emergency activation\/shutoff panel in \u201cshut-down\u201d unit (engines, generator and extractors shut down in the engine room) with cylinder status gauge, engine and reverse gear electronic controls, fiberglass sole with non-slip surface, a covered steering wheel, complete engine instrumentation, a magnetic compass, controls, alarms, a fire detection alarm in engine room, cabins and bow thruster locker, fuel filters water alarm, navigation lights panel with faulty lights test, emergency wipers control, bilge pumps control, portside storage, a VHF radio telephone with DSC and a 13.5kW 60Hz generator with soundproof box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riva says that this boat\u2019s lines are meant to feel automotive\u2014beefy and sleek\u2014while the hullside windows coupled with an aggressively curved windshield keep the lines low profile for a sexy look at sea. The yacht\u2019s exterior wood is high-gloss mahogany with 20 coats of varnish, punctuated by white maple seams.
