The Ocean Alexander 84R Skylounge Panacea<\/em> is currently listed with Gilman Yachts for $6.65 million. The 2020 motor yacht has accommodations to sleep eight guests in its four-stateroom, five-head layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yachting<\/em> has previously reported<\/a> that \u201cthe 84R is built via resin infusion with structural foam, fiberglass and carbon fiber, for strength at sea. Carbon fiber is applied to high-stress areas and used in construction of the sky lounge. Aluminum beams in the bulkheads and ceiling further strengthen the yacht.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A set of stairs from the Ocean Alexander 84R’s cockpit lead up to the aft deck of the sky lounge, which is set up with loose furniture, a wet bar and grill combo, multiple lounge pads and a whirlpool spa. Forward, through the sliding glass doors, is the enclosed all-weather sky lounge. An L-shaped sofa and ottoman are to starboard with two loose lounge chairs in front of the cabinets to port, all abaft the three-seat upper helm station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sky lounge\u2019s forward stairs lead to the main deck and salon. The salon has an L-shaped settee, lounge chair and an ottoman to port. The galley is also to port and amidships. It’s set up with high-end appliances for the at-sea chef, including a JennAir 30-inch, full-size stainless-steel oven, 30-inch stainless- steel microwave with exhaust fan and work light, 30-inch four-burner glass top cooktop, stainless-steel dishwasher, a Fisher & Paykel 36-inch double-door stainless-steel refrigerator with freezer drawer below, a Whirlpool 15-inch stainless-steel trash compactor, waste disposal, a stainless-steel sink and a Separate Seagull drinking water trap for purified water. There is an eight-person formal dining table to starboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stepping aft through the sliding glass doors brings guests to the cockpit where owners and their guests can enjoy alfresco dining at the four-person bench seat and fixed table\u2013add loose chairs and there’s room for eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wide side decks lead to the foredeck where guests will have a few options to choose from for lounging. Forward is a three-person sun pad with a U-shaped sofa and fixed table. A sun shade can be set up for shaded comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belowdecks there is a day head as well as all four staterooms. There is a full-beam master stateroom amidships with a king berth and his-and-hers ensuite heads. The VIP stateroom has a queen berth and en suite head. Both the port and starboard guest staterooms have lower bunks that can be arranged to be queen-size berths. They also both have en suite heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panacea<\/em>\u2019s power is a pair of 1,650 hp MAN V12s. Both engines are currently at only 457 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The swim platform acts as the yacht’s tender stowage. It\u2019s worth noting that a 2021 Venture 16-foot Walker Bay tender is included in the purchase of Panacea<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The yacht has a full Garmin electronics suite consisting of 8624 24-inch touchscreen displays, two VHFs with remote microphones, GHC 20 autopilot, a 25 kW six-foot open array radar scanner, Blackbox AIS, a Blackbox sounder, three engine room cameras, GRID remote at helm chair armrest, a card reader, a six-foot radar scanner and four GPS sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
